The Squirrels may not realise it, but they may have saved Christmas as well as earning their Christmas Badges.

Betty skillfully organises the queue while Roly is on toilet duty. And then, disaster strikes. Worm pops up and eats part of Carrot Henge. Duggee is dispatched to fetch one of his own giant carrots to fill the gap. As time ticks on with no Duggee in sight, the place gets busier, and the sun is nearly at the top. Will Duggee fix the Henge in time, or will Carrot Solstice be ruined.

Meanwhile, Moira's impatience gets the better of her, and she decides to fix the spaceship herself. Unfortunately, Moira's quick fix turns out to be a bit of a mess. She realises that she needs Mack's help to fix it properly. Ruby's patience runs out too. She pulls up her carrot, but it is tiny! She is really disappointed and decides she'll have to throw it away. Can Molly find a use for Ruby's tiny carrot.

When James mentions that he needs a scarf, Alice decides to get him one as a gift. She discovers that Magnus and Ruby have learnt to knit and have made an orange scarf, which will be perfect for James. What Alice doesn't realise is that Magnus and Ruby have knitted tons of scarves, and soon lots of people at the Big Hub have got them. When Alice realises, she is disappointed, as she wanted her gift to be special. So she gives the scarf to Bob instead. When Molly finds out what has happened she persuades Alice to get the scarf back, but they don't have the heart after seeing that Bob really loves his gift. By the time Molly and Alice get to Magnus and Ruby, the scarves have been so popular that there are none left. Molly needs to find a scarf for Alice to give to James – and fast.

Far from being accepted as part of the celebrations of Jesus's birth, over the centuries carols have been banned by both church and state. The carols we sing seem set in stone, and yet they can have up to 400 regional variations. Individual carols have caused controversy - While Shepherds Watched had to be cleaned up by the Victorians for being too crude, and there's a suspicion that O Come All Ye Faithful was a call to 18th-century Jacobites to rebel. The documentary celebrates the enduring power of the carol with a variety of performances from folk singer Bella Hardy to the choir of Truro Cathedral.

Zahra-Rose's family is from Somalia, a country situated on the east coast of Africa. In Somalia, they have the traditional dish of nafaqo, which is boiled egg wrapped in mashed potato. This is what Zahra-Rose has chosen to make for her friends. To begin with, Zahra-Rose seasons mashed potato with salt, black pepper, flour, ground cumin, ground coriander, turmeric powder and fresh coriander. She then wraps the potato mixture around her special ingredient, hard-boiled eggs, rolls them in breadcrumbs and puts them in the oven to be cooked. Zahra-Rose also serves a fresh chilli sauce, so her friends can use it for dipping. Not only does Zahra-Rose have beautiful decorations, she also has a surprise picnic planned. Will her friends realise what her special ingredient is.

Soon, to the delight of the Alphablocks, he is putting on a spectacular SHOW. What a showman! N has never had a nicer day.

Cow discovers Go and Stop disco dancing in the forest. She loves their moves and wants to learn how to do them, but she doesn’t think she’ll be able to wiggle, spin and clap in time to the music. There’s too much to remember. Go and Stop realise that Cow needs to master each dance move separately before she can make all the actions fit the beat.

Andy travels down to Antarctica to fix things - but finds that the ice is melting faster than it used to due to climate change, and the webcam is now floating on the water. It's up to Andy to retrieve the camera, find the seals and bring the footage home.

Andy is put in charge of caring for the frogspawn of the glass frog - but he has no idea how to look after it! So he embarks on a trip to Costa Rica in search of some wild glass frogs. After encountering a basilisk lizard and a hungry cricket, Andy finally meets one of the tiny amphibians and learns the secret to looking after their eggs.

Doug helps Waffle make new neighbour Pepper a dog bed. They fondly remember when Mrs Hobbs adopted Pepper and when they made their first box-bed for her cat, George.

First, they need to find their talents. After they spend some time searching, Narrator explains that ‘finding their talents’ means working out what they are good at. So, the Squirrels practise their skills until they are ready to face an audience.

It’s the perfect day for ice skating, and everyone is excited - except for Prickly, who doesn’t know how to skate. Vida helps him with some bumps and bruises, and gives him some sage advice.

Major Clanger is fishing nearby and tries to repair it on the spot but in the end decides he will have to take it to his workshop. The Iron Chicken is distraught but Granny assures her that Major knows what he’s doing, and reluctantly the Iron Chicken returns to her nest where she receives a visit from the Wols, who suggest they create their own radio station – Radio Wol. It is a huge success.

The other letters arrive at the TOP first, and then jump out to grab the ‘s’ to make STOP. Now, they can put it back in the right SPOT in S’s dome.

Go and Stop are in the garden tending to the plants. Do Blocks Grow Stem, Grow Leaf and Grow Flower arrive with some magic beans. If they do Wonder Magic with the Do Blocks, how will the magic bean plants look? Go is delighted to discover that changing the order of the magic makes the plants look very different. Andy travels down to Antarctica to fix things - but finds that the ice is melting faster than it used to due to climate change, and the webcam is now floating on the water. It's up to Andy to retrieve the camera, find the seals and bring the footage home.

Doug helps Waffle make new neighbour Pepper a dog bed. They fondly remember when Mrs Hobbs adopted Pepper and when they made their first box-bed for her cat, George.

Molly and Mack are exploring upstairs in the Big Hub and find an old spotlight. It's really cool, but they don't know if it works or what it could be used for. Meanwhile, Alice is leading a dance class for the children, but Suki doesn't feel like joining in - she feels too shy. Bob tells Suki that he used to feel the same, but that when he gave it a go, he realised that he loved dancing. So Suki joins the class and ends up having lots of fun. Later, she tells Alice that Bob used to love dancing too and offers to ask him to be Alice's dance partner. Meanwhile, Moira gets to work on fixing the old spotlight. When Bob finds out about dancing with Alice, he feels nervous and goes to tell Alice he doesn't want to. Alice is disappointed and persuades Bob to practice in the evening when everyone has gone home. When Molly and Mack find out about the dance practice, they think of a way to make it really special.

Koa the tiger loves sweets, and his teeth hurt, but he doesn’t know why! A check-up reveals that he has bacteria in his mouth from all that sugar. Luckily, Vida knows just what to do. She teaches Koa to brush his teeth and to eat his beloved sweets as a treat instead of all the time.

The medal wearing froglets now see themselves as better than the other froglets, and soon the two groups are not talking to each other. It takes all of Major’s and Granny’s cunning to settle this froglet dispute.
