With the aid of a torch, Flop shows Bing that shadows never go far from their owners.

Sula, Pando and Bing discover a bird's nest while making a playhouse in the shed. They try to find the bird by being super quiet, and she flies into their playhouse. When Bing goes in to look for her, she flies out again; they can't both be in the playhouse at the same time. So Bing decides to give the shed to her until her chicks have all grown up.

The Squirrels discover that things can be wide, long, thin or small, and that these attributes make up all sorts of different sizes. To help understand this, they assign a line-up all the way from a small piece of dust to a huge rocket ship.

The Squirrels are admiring everything Duggee has grown in his vegetable garden, especially his crop of giant carrots, when they hear a noise. They investigate and find the Rabbits busy preparing for the Carrot Solstice, the day when the sun is at its highest. On this day, they gather round Carrot Henge to celebrate the glory of this humble vegetable. Trouble is, the Rabbits need to go and get ready – but who will look after the carrots? The Squirrels volunteer, so off the Rabbits go. Looking after the carrots seems easy at first, and Norrie arranges tasks for everyone. Betty skillfully organises the queue while Roly is on toilet duty. And then, disaster strikes. Worm pops up and eats part of Carrot Henge. Duggee is dispatched to fetch one of his own giant carrots to fill the gap. As time ticks on with no Duggee in sight, the place gets busier, and the sun is nearly at the top. Will Duggee fix the Henge in time, or will Carrot Solstice be ruined.

Evil Pea has trapped Supertato and replaced him with an evil robot lookalike called Robotato. She has programmed it to do mean things in order to destroy Supertato's reputation so that she can take over the supermarket. Luckily, Carrot senses something's amiss and eventually figures out what's happened. She frees Supertato just in time for him to stop Robotato from carrying out Pea's meanest command yet: splatting everyone with a giant cream pie.

Bing is at Amma's creche and it is his turn to choose the game. He chooses musical statues. Flop gets the Bingpad going, and soon all the children are dancing like crazy. In a grocery shop, the Twirlywoos watch a man build a pyramid of apples into a display. Then, they observe a lady putting some of the apples from the display into her trolley. When she leaves to get something from another part of the shop, the Twirlywoos decide to put more and more apples into the trolley. They get so carried away that they knock the whole display over, and when the lady returns, she finds her trolley full to the brim with apples! The Twirlywoos return to the boat to find the Twirlywoo Screen. A tree draws on the wall, and every time the Twirlywoos touch it, a banana appears. Chickedy and Chick get carried away and create a huge number of bananas which fall off the tree, covering the Twirlywoos.

The Twirlywoos watch a potter make a pot on a wheel, and when he leaves the room, they come out to investigate. Chickedy and Chick jump inside the half-finished pot, while Great BigHoo presses the pedal down to make the wheel turn, and Toodloo starts to throw more clay onto the wheel. Great BigHoo gets carried away, making the wheel spin faster and faster, until the growing pot flails out of control and collapses in a heap! On the boat, the Twirlywoos try to have tea, but unfortunately the tea table is misbehaving. It spins around, sending Chickedy and Chick flying up into the air! Toodloo and Great BigHoo join in the fun and get spun up in the air too, before landing with a bump when the tea table disappears.

The mole rats have huge teeth, no hair and spend much of their time walking backwards.
