Flashback. On a mission, Lev saves Hope's life. He realises how much he treasures her. His feelings are very mixed - it is somewhat sexual but also somewhat parental, as he is her mentor. Hope owes Lev and is filled with gratitude. Present time. Hope discloses Lev's plans to Eth. She makes a deal with him - she will kill the traitor and take his place. Eth agrees and demands Lev's head.

Flashback. Hope says goodbye to Lev - she is leaving to live on her own. Lev remains the only person who truly knows her and sees her for who she is. Present time. Hope brings Eth Lev's head. Inside the head, there is a bomb.

Susanne finds the young woman, Sapphire, at the strip club, who is the same age as her daughter, and finds out that she knows about the suspected hit man, John. Worst of all, Susanne understands that the young woman is not only a witness, she is in fact the target of the killing.

Desperately needing help to find the girl, Susanne calls on CC, a veteran soldier she had in therapy for his PTSD. Reluctantly he accepts to track the girl. As they find evidence of her being close by, the police arrive.

At the subway station, Susanne spots her former colleague and peer, Maja. The tracker reveals that Sapphire's EarPods are in her handbag. Susanne finds out that Maja has had a session with the young woman and that Maja is connected to both the police commissioner, John and the girl-trafficking to the strip club. By now, John has already got hands on the young woman and there is nothing she can do about it. Susanne threatens to kill Maja to get information about John's place.

As Susanne finds Sapphire, John captures her and brings them both to a small, deserted island in the harbour. His killing field is in a big secluded old bunker. Tied up and facing her own death and the killing of Sapphire, Susanne musters all her psychological skills and finds out that John actually killed her daughter. Playing one last card, she lures John into a psychological set-up, but will he take the bait?
