To accomplish their goal, the scientists (Antonio Moreno, Richard Carlson, Richard Denning, Whit Bissell) must brave the most perilous pieces of land South America has to offer. But the terrain is nothing compared to the danger posed by an otherworldly being that endangers their work and their lives.

Actress Ann Darrow (Fay Wray) and director Carl Denham (Robert Armstrong) travel to the Indian Ocean to do location shoots for Denham's new jungle picture. Along the way, the actress meets and falls for rugged First Mate John Driscoll (Bruce Cabot). Upon arriving at a mysterious island, Ann is taken hostage by natives who prepare her as a sacrifice to the enormous ape Kong who rules over their jungle. But when Ann is rescued and Kong is captured, the real trouble begins.

When a wartime buddy is murdered just before Christmas, private eye Mike Hammer sets out to find the killer and take revenge. Along the way, he meets a new love interest, a treacherous Santa, a gangster and two twin sisters.

An airplane has crashed, causing the deaths of 53 people, but who is to blame? It's the job of Sam McBane (Glenn Ford) to find out, especially since the pilot was his good friend, and authorities believe he may have been drunk during the flight. Knowing of the pilot's exemplary World War II record, Sam goes on the search for the true culprit with the aid of the lone survivor, stewardess Martha Webster (Suzanne Pleshette), and reenacts the events of the accident.

After being warned of the danger to her personal safety she makes plans to leave the dark old house, but it is too late. The maniac is in the house, and she is his prey.

British Air Force pilot Peter Carter (David Niven) is on his way home to England from a World War II bombing mission in a badly damaged aircraft.
