Fifteen years later, the murder of 23-year-old Angelika Kluk in Glasgow revealed a link between all three cases. After an exhaustive hunt, employing the-then latest DNA technology Peter Tobin was sentenced to life imprisonment for the three murders.

With Tobin in jail and refusing to answer any questions about his life, the police began to search his old home in Bathgate and then a house in Margate, Kent.
