After finishing a stint as a cavalryman, Wayne Stanley (James Brown) is looking forward to taking a job on his brother's ranch. While traveling to see his sibling, he helps entertainer Nora (Joan Staley) out of a sticky situation with an aggressive suitor, and promptly falls in love with her. But when he and Nora finally meet up with Wayne's brother, Brad (Gregg Palmer), they learn the ranch is just a front for a crime ring. Wayne is appalled, leading to a feud between the brothers.
