John and Lisa this time simplify some traditional Christmas dishes that can be a bit tricky to get right - they start with French toast muffins with hollandaise sauce where John's foolproof recipe gives perfect hollandaise every time and is well worth the effort. Next up is Lisa's roast potatoes and roasted Brussels sprout gratin - Lisa's tried and trusted roast potatoes are fluffy on the inside, crunchy on the outside, and are so simple to make while the Brussels sprout gratin will convert even the fussiest of eaters. That's followed by John's foolproof stuffing and knock-out gravy, both of which are equally irresistible, and last up is a gorgeous alternative to Christmas pudding with a ginger bundt tin Christmas cake that looks so special - served with pimped-up shop-bought custard, it tastes very special too.
