Artist Mike and his teacher wife Kate moved to Iona 20 years ago. They now run Iona Wool, which sells ethical local wool products. Their shop is functional but could do with some Banjo design magic. The beautiful colours of their stock mean that they don’t want much colour, which is a challenge for Banjo, whose designs are often dark and richly coloured. Banjo comes up with a modern Hebridean design idea which he hopes will keep selling the gorgeous woollens but also warm up the shop with some fun design features. Banjo heads to Glasgow to his favourite salvage shop and buys dozens of bobbins from old wool mills to help with his design. His trusty team of local tradespeople help him realise his design vision. Meanwhile, Lisa makes woollen lampshades, and Eoghan builds a woven timber wall to hide a changing room. With little time and only £6,000, will Banjo’s shop transformation hit the mark.

It’s the grand final! The judges - interior designer Anna Campbell Jones, architect Danny Campbell and Isle of Mull-based interior designer Banjo Beale - have travelled the country in search of Scotland’s home of the year. It’s now down to the final six homes – the winners of each regional episode – to go head-to-head, but only one of them can take the prestigious title. The judges have invited the six regional winners to join them at Glasgow’s House for an Art Lover, where they will go through the homes one by one, assessing them on architectural merit, distinctive design and personal style, before whittling six down to three, and then – the hardest job of all – choosing the overall winner of Scotland’s Home of the Year 2025. The six finalists are: Sandstone Bungalow in Giffnock won in the West. Hilltop House on the outskirts of Pitmedden, in rural Aberdeenshire, won in the North East and Northern Isles. Wee City Nook in Stockbridge, Edinburgh, won in the East. Tree House in Broughty Ferry won in Central and Tayside. An Cala Cottage in Skye won in the Highlands and Islands. Craigmount near Dalbeattie won in the South.

The third episode of Scotland's Game, the series that tackles the last 30 years of Scottish football, turns the spotlight on the nation's performances and standing on the international stage. Three decades ago, the national team was a force to be reckoned with when it came to qualification for the major tournaments. Star players for the national team were feted and the country's appearances against the giants of world football in the European Championships and the World Cups were eagerly anticipated. But this episode charts the decline of the national team and examines the failings on and off the pitch that have marked this slide in fortunes. Contributors offer compelling insights into the high points that temporarily raised hopes and also into the darker moments of Scotland's international forays. They also give their thoughts on the structural and cultural reasons behind the downward trend and where improvements might be made. Among those interviewed are former players John Collins, Graeme Souness, Steven Pressley and Murdo MacLeod, ex-Scotland managers Alex McLeish, Andy Roxburgh and Craig Brown, historian Tom Devine and former first minister Henry McLeish.
