Gunslinger Case Britton (Jim Davis) isn't welcome in his hometown of Rock Valley. He's still wanted for the murder of the Avery brothers, the sons of local tycoon Carl Avery (Barton MacLane). He's forced back into Rock Valley, however, because he's received word that outlaw Jack Cantrell (Ted de Corsia) plans on robbing a stagecoach that is coming into town. As Case struggles to earn the trust of the locals, he begins to suspect that Avery may have something to do with the planned robbery.
