Adaptation of the adventures of the swinging comic-strip hero. A shy student becomes a crime fighter after a bite from a mutant spider, during a school outing, gives him extraordinary powers. As he comes to terms with his new-found abilities, he is also forced to contend with a maniac villain known as the Green Goblin.

The comic book web-slinger returns for a blockbusting sequel. Crime-fighting has cost Peter Parker his best friend and his true love Mary Jane. However, just as he quits as Spider-Man, New York comes under threat from Dr Octopus, a metal-tentacled madman. Peter has no choice but to swing back into action.

Peter Parker finds a clue that might help him understand why his parents disappeared when he was young. His path puts him on a collision course with Dr. Curt Connors, his father's former partner.
