Documentary exploring how a father and son from a small town in north Wales built one of the UK's biggest underground steroid empires, selling to gym-goers around the world. Son Macaulay recalls his first experience with steroids and how his father Andrew, a former fisherman and cockle picker, was left broke, raising children alone and desperate to change his circumstances.

Father and son grow closer during the golden period of their illegal operation, and for a brief moment, it feels like a genuine family business. But beneath the surface, cracks are already forming. Macaulay is young, cocky and high on power, and as the police close in, he discovers his father is hoarding the profits for himself.

Father and son reunite, but the trust between them is broken. As the police close in, Macaulay's paranoia grows as his addiction gets out of control, and he becomes convinced the neighbours are undercover officers. The police investigation takes a leap forward with the arrest of a distributor and the discovery of a business being used to receive industrial quantities of steroid equipment.
